Official Cardano commercial arm, EMURGO, announced Seiza – a brand new Cardano ADA blockchain explorer, at last month’s IOHK Summit 2019. Following the success of EMURGO’s previous product offering Yoroi ADA wallet as “the financial gateway to the future”, Seiza is now live! It is the latest EMURGO developed product to hit the market for the Cardano community and ADA holders as it is a feature rich Cardano blockchain explorer combined with a stunning user interface and enhanced user experience.
The name Seiza is derived from the Japanese word for “constellation”, as it reflects EMURGO’s Japanese heritage and objective for it to be a total comprehensive blockchain navigation guide for users. This free product offering aligns with EMURGO’s initiative to drive the adoption of Cardano – the first third-generation blockchain to evolve out of a research-first driven approach, and bring value to ADA holders.
Additionally, Seiza aligns with dLab/EMURGO’s Cardano fellow Khoa Phan and the Soshen API which allows for developers and stake pool operators to easily run a blockchain full node by providing a full node service, which Soshen will manage, in order to enable developers to build on Cardano and stake pool operators to run stake pools without the hassle of setting up a data-intensive full node. Staking is something the team is working hard at, to roll out in the coming months.
Blockchain or block explorers are essential blockchain ecosystem tools as they act as the transparency gateway for users to access real-time data about all public & open source blockchain-related information. With Cardano’s decentralization era on track with Shelley slated for sometime in the near future, Seiza’s role becomes ever more vital to providing real utility and transparency benefits for Cardano ADA users.
In the coming months, dLab/EMURGO Cardano Fellow Robert Kornacki and his product Syre will also be integrated with Yoroi ADA Wallet to provide transaction surety and allow users to easily send and receive ADA without having to confirm the intended wallet address. This is another product that EMURGO is promoting to our community that is another building block in the Cardano ecosystem.
Seiza reflects another fundamental step towards building the Cardano ecosystem as the Yoroi ADA wallet functions as a safe & secure cryptocurrency storage solution complemented by the “ADA search engine” that is Seiza which will allow users to track their ADA transactions and other vital information related to the Cardano blockchain including wallet histories, addresses, block size, and stake pools, among others. As Cardano runs a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism with staking, stake pools, and epochs all of huge interest to users, Seiza will allow for the viewing of this information in real-time 24/7.
EMURGO would like to also thank the Cardano Foundation, as we were able to ensure the future open source development capabilities of Seiza thanks to CF’s funding.
